This pumpkin bread is sure to put a smile on your face.

Pumpkin is the primary ingredient in our recipe (there’s more pumpkin than flour!) for full flavor and deep color. The just-right spice blend of cinnamon, ginger, allspice and nutmeg brings the bread to life. You’ll see what we mean by pumpkin perfection. Try the bread with or without walnuts. Try these kid-friendly sandwich ideas:

  • Cream cheese and jam on Honey White or Wheat
  • Peanut butter and honey on Honey White or Wheat
  • Sliced cheese, grated carrots and low-fat mayonnaise on Honey White or Wheat
  • Remove the crust and flatten a slice of Honey White or Wheat with a rolling pin. Spread peanut butter and jelly on one side and then roll the bread up. Then slice crosswise a few times for great pinwheel sandwiches.
